I am back in the UK!
I am back in the cold!!! After my long winter break in Thailand I am now back in the UK. It was sunny, humid and 35 degrees when I left Thailand and when I arrived in Denmark, it was snowing and -5 degrees. I forgot to pack my gloves when I left the UK in November last year and I did not have much luck looking for gloves in Thailand the week before I left. I wonder if they even sell gloves in Thailand. Greetings from Thailand!
So after 24 hours of travelling (door to door), I made it in one piece to Thailand where I will be spending another winter. That means getting up at 5:00 AM every day to go out on my bike rides (20 to 100 km daily). Yoga, massages, Thai food and the beach. What is there to not like!!!! I will be spending almost 3 months here. When I return to the UK in the spring I will be fully charged and ready for my 4 months spring tour. Wales
Recently I went to Wales on a lovely hiking trip. The last time I visited Wales was 10 years ago so it was interesting to see how much it had changed over the years. I visited the Chepstow Castle and walked 22 km in total. It was a lovely hike but my hiking shoes were new so my feet were not happy after the long walk. 😬
